I hate to be the bearer of bad news.....but eggs will ruin the finish on your car.
If you didn't wash it almost immediately after it being egged, then I'm afraid your paint is permanently damaged.

I'm going to agree with Truce....any time a car is egged, it leaves a distinctive pattern of tiny scratches in the paint...when the egg shell disintegrates, the shell fragments cause tiny little chips in the paint in a circular pattern. Even washing off the residue will not remove the scratches plus the sulfur in the egg will harm the paint also if left on too long....you may have to make a claim on your insurance for vandalism as the affected areas will have to be repainted.

a month later? I think you are screwed! I know my mom got her house egged and the next day when we were washing it the paint came off where ever the egg had touched!

Pressure spray (regular car wash don't have enough pressure or brushing). Try a manual self-serve car wash place instead.

Try WD40....really! I use it to remove all sorts of stuff off the paint of my cars. (bugs, tar, tree sap, etc.) It won't harm the paint. I don't know if it'll take the egg off, but it's worth a try.
