He had words with some people previously. He was known to carry a firearm to protect himself. They found out where he lived and tried twice to rob him. The second time, they caught him slipping and killed him in his bedroom.

Someone went into his house and shot him in the lower stomach, severing his femoral artery. Unfortunately, he lost a lot of blood and died after hours of surgery.
