Is it possible to bleed baseboard boiler heat (circa 1960) and where do you bleed it from?

if its fed frm a boiler there should be a bleed valve on it some where at the top

You may have to bleed the whole system at the boiler. Most systems should have an automatic bleeder at the boiler.
