i went to napa wineries over the summer, but i've never been during the holiday season in december. is it all decorated festive for the holiday time? i want to take my boyfriend there for a day trip if it is because i think it'd be really charming if so, but if it's just the same as throughout the year then maybe not. thanks!

I live in Napa! Napa, Yountville, St. Helena, and Calistoga just kicked off the holiday season last weekend with parades and events. The B&Bs around Napa have a tour where you can go to something like 14 different B&Bs by limo service. Different hors d'ouerves and wines at each one, and they're all decked out for the season already. Downtown is the same way. So are the shops, restaurants, and wineries. There's all kinds of community Christmas stuff going on all month. Check out www.napavalleyregister.com and look in the community pages. Anything from dinners to events at the Opera House, you name it. And on top of that, the weather's been pretty nice so far. Email me if you need more info!

I love going to Napa during the holidays. The small towns and wineries do go all out decorating for Christmas. It's also a great time to try a mud bath and massage in Calistoga.

This is the right time to go and see napa, I think the harvest season.. During Christmas time , U may see only dried farms.. ( I guess). But napa/sonoma/calistoga are worth to see all the time if u enjoy natural beauty.
Dont miss the calistoga, redwood trees, bodega bay, etc.. if u r visiting napa ..
