The only two options are chorionic villus sampling or an amniocentesis. Which one depends on how far along you are.

But most doctors will not do either of these procedures simply for paternity reasons. They are generally done when there is a high-risk pregnancy or suspected genetic issues with the child. There are risks involved with both procedures that could lead to miscarriage, so that is why they don't do it routinely for only paternity - paternity is something that can wait to be performed safely after the child is born - then it's just a simple cotton swab on the inside of the mouth.

I won't judge you for the situation you're in, but don't make this bad situation any worse by endangering your pregnancy because you don't want to wait.

This may not answer your question, as you already seem to have loads of answers but for the record, I dont think you're a tramp. Things like that do happen. It's unfortunate when it results in a pregnancy but the child itself will be a blessing.

Im not a tramp or whore, Im having my first child with my boyfriend whom i love very much and am faithful to him however I have in the past slept with two guys in a close amount of time and if I were to have become pregnant from it, I wouldnt have known who the father would have been either. Sometimes things happen. That's how it is. And any of the people on here who are being self righteous are kidding themselves if they think that they are better or are calling you names to belittle you.

Good luck with the paternity and your new baby. But as a piece of advice, I would wait to have the paternity test until after the baby is born. Most DNA tests that are done with the child in utero can be potentially dangerous to the baby and cause you to miscarry. Just be honest with both guys and try to stick it out. good luck again.

The only way to find out before the baby is born is by having an amniocentesis. However, the risks are great and it is rare to find a situation where a doctor will perform this procedure simply to determine paternity. After the birth, you can have a DNA test done. There is no risk to the baby and it is cheaper.

DNA test on baby and father(s)

Chorionic Villi Sampling (CVS). During the 10th to 13th week of pregnancy, a small sample can be taken from the placenta, a membrane that partially surrounds the developing fetus. This procedure is performed either transcervically (through the vagina) or transabdominally (through the abdominal wall).

Amniocentesis – During the 14th to 24th week of pregnancy, a sample of amniotic fluid can be drawn. The amniotic fluid, found in the sac surrounding the developing fetus, contains fetal cells that can be used for DNA analysis. Sampling is performed transabdominally—a needle is inserted through the abdominal wall to extract amniotic fluid.

You will need to pay a separate physician’s fee for prenatal sampling, ranging from $500-$1,500. If the mother is having the CVS or amniocentesis sample collected for medical purposes (in addition to paternity), her insurance company may cover this fee.

Parental samples are collected using a standard procedure, the painless and non-invasive buccal swab—a cotton-like swab rubbed against the inside of the patient’s mouth to gather loose cheek cells.

There is actually a test that can be done while you are still pregnant! I found this out when my son's fathered tried to deny our youngest son...LONG STORY! But it's a Prenatal Paternity Test. It ranges from $500.00 to about $800.00, and some can even do a gender test for an additional charge! If you can wait it would be a little easier on your pockets, but if not than this will be the only option.

Ask your dr about performing an amniocentisis to determine DNA paternity of your baby. It's possible!

Good luck!

only sleep with one man?

other than a dna test at birth it is nearly impossible to tell unless you know the exact date you ovulated and who you were intimate with that day.

How on earth do you "Not on purpose" sleep with two different people? Anyway that is all beside the point...a dna test after the child is born will be the only way to tell who the father is.

Others have already answered you in great detail (CVS and amnio). You have to be able to access dna and there is no other way to get to it. Except in rare instances, doctors will not do CVS or amnio unless medically necessary.
