You test for temperature on the back of the hand, not the palm, because the back is more sensitive. Palms become calloused from work and don't register temperature as well. Inside of the wrist is also a good spot.

You test on the "top" or back of your hand, where the veins show. This is to measure temperature of a liquid, as in testing a baby's bottle for heat.

palms are the inside or the underside of your hand the back side of your hand is what you see when u don't turn your hand over.
