Well, I didn't forget to have fun but couldn't even schedule it in! When I had three children under the age of seven, I went to nursing school. I was the only adult in the house. I went to school full time, carrying a heavy load with lots of science classes which required a lot of homework. Several days a week I had to work at the hospital as a student nurse. I also worked 36 hours a week to support the children and myself. I kept a 4 point average. I couldn't afford any convenience foods, so I cooked everything from scratch. One day a week, I'd cook 7 meals for the coming week. I honestly had to schedule in things like "shower". During that time I never saw a movie, a TV program, or did anything that was recreational. My only goal was to graduate and get my nursing license. I felt that the sacrifice would be worth it.... and I was right :-) I also learned just how strong I am and have felt very sure of my personal power ever since that time. I'm now invincible! lol Oh yes... after graduation, I took off a whole month and did nothing but sit in a comfy chair and knit. People tell me I sat there with this glazed look......

Yes so I took all the money I saved from my paper route and blew it at the arcade.
Then as I got older I had a goal of paying my house off in 10 years so I worked 70 hours a week for 5 years until I burned myself out and became the burnout I am today with no life.

College ! I had to work full time to pay for it and wanted to do well so spent every minute studying. Went out on 1 date. Sad. The college sends me lots of info as a alumni and I never knew there was so much to do while I was there. Magna *** Laude never got me anything. Sure wish I would have got C's and had fun doing it.

No I tend to be the complete opposite.
I take my fun so seriously that my goals got lost along the way.

Only once in a while. One of my goals is to make time for fun, so usually I stay on track.

To tell the truth I don't remember if If I did or not. But I do know, you have to enjoy yourself in anything that you do.
If fun is for the Devil, then call me Natasha.
