I like suprises.. =]
mostly because it means the person that got it for me put thought into it rather than just picking up whatever I told them..
Its like two in one.. an actual gift, and then the gift of thought (which gets you extra points)

I personally like to get what I want, but if the guy knows things that I like (or things like it) then a surprise is wonderful! The fact you'd even go out of your way to surprise would mean the best to me.

Ordinarily, I prefer a surprise gift to one that I've picked out. But this year is different -- all I want is for my husband to fix the dent I put in my fender (get the estimates, take it to the shop, deal with it 100%). If he does this for me, it will be the bestest, super duper, magical Christmas ever.

Im the type of person that doesnt tell people what I want so I love suprises. I think it shows how much you like a person if you get them that special something without saying it. But If i tell someone what I want thats usually what I want.

Well, if he knows the types of things that I like, I'd love to be surprised. It really is the thought that counts, but I'd feel bad if he bought me something I didn't like because I wouldn't want to hurt his feelings, but I'd be unhappy.
