We have a corrupt culture full of horrific influences and parents can't shield away absolutely everything. You simply do the best that you can. The people who point fingers either have not had kids or haven't raised the older ones yet.

hi you know there is always some one thats gone to blame a parent for the way their child does mainly if it's something not good.
but this isn't always the case children some of them can already have the wrong actions with in them but at times they can be around another child and in some kind of a way that child can bring it out of the child that has bad actions.
it's not always the parent that has caused the badness in a child.
sometime it has been parents that do have a great part in the way their child acts. so it's almost like a in between with parents and children. I hope I was some help!

Most juveniles these days are the way they are because it was made against the law to spank your child. I've seen it all too many times. The child standing face to face with their parent and tell them they can't do anything to the kid. Now-a-days it's the liberal government that is to blame for they are the ones that started this "no spanking" business. Thank goodness I didn't listen to them. If my kid did something wrong and it warranted it, I spanked the hell out of my kid and he's never been in trouble.

At that point it is the kid's fault. My neighbor across the street is a great mother, she has a daughter that is a straight A student and works hard. She did everything to provide a good atmosphere for her children, but her son became a heroin addict and has little control over his decisions and rarely applies logic. He's stolen from her (thousands of dollars) and he's doing a little better now, she actually lets him back in the house under an arrangement where he works for his uncle and the money goes to her. I know the kid well, I think he's going to relapse and it's only a matter of time before he winds up back in jail for something, and believe me it is no fault of his mother's.

Until a child is dead or in the states care the parent has not done "all they can" for there child.

Discipline, programs, counseling, scare tactics, corporal punishment, all these things must be exhausted, and if the child has not gotten them selves in jail by this point then the parents should turn them over as wards of the state so they go to juvi until there 18.

99% of trees bear at least one bad fruit. My parents have had ten children and I always wonder if any of us will be one America's most wanted. We were raised right, but a child is so easily led astray that it’s hard to know who to blame. I believe it’s a case by case problem. This is not a subject that can truly be placed in a black and white world.

I think you're confusing blame with responsibilty. A parent needs to stick with their kid. It's a greater committment than marriage.

There is moral responsibility and legal responsibility. Legally, children are responsible for their own torts.

Morally, a parent who is a parent in name only (i.e., they let the kid run wild and just don't care) is responsible for the hellion they've unleashed on the populace.

parents need to learn to beat their kids. that's the only way you'll get them to listen.
