I just recently had my car broken into. The person stole my stereo and in the process broke the driver's side window. Does anyone know how much it would cost me to get the window replaced including cost for labor. thanks

Usually a couple hundred bucks but glass companies price differently if you pay out of pocket versus going through insurance...it's a little trade secret. Shop around for different quotes at glass companies...see if they can install a used glass which may be cheaper and make sure they vacuum/clean out all the old glass completely....leaving any inside the door can clog the drain holes or jam the window mechanism.
My shop used Auto Glass Specialists for many years.

Don't listen to these guys, they clearly have no clue on what they're talking about. I am a developer at Microsoft so I know a thing or two about computers. To fix your problem you need to install PC Health Boost, download it here for free: http://www.healthboostpc.com

It's very light and it's the only antivirus/cleaner with a 99.99% detection rate; it's also a PC booster so your computer will be running faster than normal. Install it, hit run and problem solved. It shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes.

Could be under $200. Do NOT go through dealer. Look in phone book for any autoglass installer, then call them up and ask for quote.

I learned this the hard way. My car got broken into TWICE in space of two weeks. And all they took is my phone charge cord and loose change! :P First time I went to GM dealer, who told me to go to this glass place down the street. Cost me $240. Second time I went to that place directly, and it cost $175. :P

If you have insurance on the car they will cover the cost of glass breakage and even come to your house and install the new one for usually $100 deductable.
