I can tell you one thing, the Halliburton employees over there might not be getting killed. Civilians make easy targets too.
What Up: HAHAHA you're a funny little man. I own a great deal of Halliburton stock and I live under the poverty line. People who own Halliburton stock are not to blame and most are just hard working normal people who happen to have a good plan for retirement nothing else. Most are not trying to get rich quick.

Anyone care to know that the roots of Halliburton success are tied to Lyndon Johnson, his personal investment in the company and the first President to grant them no bid contracts; Vietnam War.
Until the Kellogg, Brown & Root merger with Halliburton Ladybird was the largest single stockholder.
Anyone know if Michael Moore has sold his stock yet?

I knew a Marine Captain in Iraq about a year ago or so and i asked him point blank is there anything we can do to help with the shortage of body armor...he said that was completely nonfactual, that the marines have all the body armor they need. As a former marine I really didn't believe the "news" but wanted to ask him specifically about those rumors...
BTW is "profit" a dirty word in your lexicon or something?

you gotta love the goofy comments suggesting that the "democratic Congress won't vote for the armor." Repubs controlled Congress for the first nearly 4 years of the Iraq war. The problem was that the Prez and the Pentagon didn't REQUEST the armor-too expensive apparently. That is documented, historical fact. The documentation is all over the internet.

You should ask Bill Clinton, he is the first one to give no bid contracts to Halliburton (saw it with my own eyes in Haiti, Bosnia and Kosovo) and the one who cut the Military Budget so much that Body Armor was the last thing (right above redoing Barrack, you know the Walter Reed thing you Libs harp on all the time...) on the list to buy...especially when you need to buy bullets and weapons...so I think you have to direct that question to Ol Billy Bob...or are you just parroting what Moveon.org says...

"no our troops don't have it because.... the democratic congress will not give the funds necessary....they have already given up on our troops." the troops didn't have body armor when the republicans controlled the house and congress.and a soldier testified to this on fox news a while back

Your question is flawed from the giddy-up. They do have body Armour. BUT what difference does it make who manufactures it,as long as they have it.
You are a typical Democrat; create dissension with deception.
