My parents, sat me and my sister in front of an 'educational' video, then buggered off while we watched it! Funny thing is, I had seen the very same video, a couple of months before in sex education classes in school! My sister is 3 years older than me, so she had already been through all the sex ed. classes. While we were, (pretending) to watch it, with 'great interest' my parents popped their heads round the door quietly, and then ran away if we turned round to look at them!!!
They never said a word after the bloomin' film finished, it was as if it never happened! Strange huh?!

I was sitting on my bed when my dad came in the room. He threw a book at me and said: 'Any questions, ask your mother'.
Never forgotten that, it sums up my parents perfectly!!!

I asked where I came from and my mother just explained the whole thing. And I've never once been awkward about sex, with anyone. It's that sort of behaviour in adults that perpetuates the problem.

I had to take Sex Ed in High School. I never got the talk.

well my mum told me straight out what sex was and everything when i was only 2/3 yrs old. I was probs too young then to understand so she sort of explained it all to me again when i was a bit older.

My father went very red and said "you are old enough to be playing with fire".
I replied "well I'm not" and that was it!
Fortunately I went to a mixed school.

My Dad used to tell me when i went out with my boyfriend who is now my husband to " keep yer hand on yer halfpenny and yer knees knicked together,....that was it.....very subtle...

They're conservative Asian parents, so they didn't.
My mom simply told me that guys are out to get me and that I'll ruin my life if I "mess around" before marriage.

similar to yours but it was a book, mum give it to me wrapped in paper said read this if you have any questions ask ....your sister lol and then disappeared to shops :)
