Ai, yi yi! it fairly is incredibly appalling, yet....your question had a touch super mistake additionally. "Bosses" is the plural of "boss," no longer the possessive variety needed here. it might have been the two "my boss' grammar and spelling" or "my boss's grammar and spelling." in accordance to the long island Public Library's instruction manual to variety and utilization, there are "specific expressions that bring about s or the s sound that traditionally require an apostrophe basically: for visual allure' sake, for ethical experience' sake, for goodness' sake". by the type, the NYPL instruction manual additionally potential that as quickly as a be conscious leads to a double s, we are greater helpful off writing its possessive with basically an apostrophe: the boss' memo, the witness' assertion. Many writers insist, besides the undeniable fact that, that we actual hear an "es" sound related to the possessive varieties of those phrases, so an apostrophe -s is appropriate: boss's memo, witness's assertion. If the seem of the three s's in a row does not complication you, use that shape.

I do use it, because I'm in Australia it gives me correct Australian English spelling for example favourite and not the American favorite.
Therefore some Americans may think I'm spelling incorrectly, which I'm not.
Also, if you were to type "their" instead of "there" or "they're" Spell Check won't offer any changes because it is a proper word. It's just being used in the wrong context.

I never noticed it (but I do now!) ;) but I try to pride myself on spelling and using grammar correctly. It absolutely aggravates me to see how badly the spelling is in here sometimes ! I mean, I can understand maybe typing "teh" instead of "the" if you are in a hurry for an answer, but seriously, some of the grammar and spelling is atrocious.

I agree. I've heard, though, that Windows Vista has wreaked havoc on spell check. Running it through a spanish spell checker! Not sure if they've come up with a fix yet.

I notice it.
It spell checks in a different language from mine.
I prefer to use the grammar and spelling, or mis-spelling, of one language than write in a hybrid.
