I am going to a christmas party this weekend and am wearing a black pinstripe skirt with black high heels and a red shirt, what color of stockings or pantyhose should I wear? I would wear nothing but need to cause its so cold out now and my legs get blotchy looking when I am cold!

Well though black and nude is very nice...I also find WHITE hose or stocking makes me feel very ANGELIC. I love the white stocking with garters and white lace thong....THe full hseer white is very nice too.

Why would you wear nothing in December when you are dressing up. Bare legs and heels are always tacky with dressy clothes, but after Labor Day, and in cold weather a real fashion boo bo.
Wear black sheer stockings, and if your are really adventurous they have them with red seams up the back. I even know people who wear very sheer red stockings with a fed shirt and black skirt and shoes. But these are stockings , not pantyhose. Pantyhose are not so fashionable, all the real fashion come in stockings and thigh highs. They show many many styles at the website stockingstore.com

You can wear nude or off black sheer hose. Some companies call it barely black. That would be better than just black since you have black below your waist already. If it is a dressy party I like what someone said about the off black stockings with the red back seam. This will only work at a semi formal gathering. If it less formal this would be too much.

I would suggest wearing off black or nude. Both would look really nice with your outfit, and they will make your legs look very sexy. Donna Karan has a line called "nudes" which are very sheer pantyhose and it looks like you aren't wearing them at all. If you go with stockings or thigh highs I would recommend Victoria's Secret.

Either black or a skin tone pantyhose. You can also consider stockings if your skirt is long enough.

Don't go with black, I would get nude or suntan colored stockings. You might look like you are overdoing the outfit with black stockings

i would do either a nude color to match your skin tone or go with an off black, not the jet black, sheer type.
if it were me I would do the nude color. that's a lot of black from the waist down.
