Fortunately, i don't come across too many dark hours in my life. The worst thing that comes to mind at the moment was when 911 hit and the towers were coming down. I had just left NY (have pics in front of the towers two days before they fell) and came back to Missouri. I grew up in NY, and moved to MO straight out of highschool. I met a great guy in MO and wanted to show him my home. We had a great time in NY and on our first day back to work the towers fell. My Mom called me saying she didn't know where some of my family members were that still lived in the city. Nobody knew anything. It was all extremely frightening. I think I held my boyfriend in a dark corner at work for what seemed to be a lifetime as I couldn't compose myself to go tell my boss I had to go home to be with my family and help to locate other family members halfway across the united states. I was so happy that there was someone there for me when I found out what had happened.

I am still in my darkest hour. When it started I felt alone. I have to admit being on YA helps a lot. Sharing experiences and knowledge and jokes with other people going through hard times helps to make the days go by much nicer.

:-)))

Yes, I did and I am very grateful for it! I never would have made it if it hadn't been for one of my best friends and my Mom.

Yes, when our son died, we had God to cling to, each other, and friends that came along side and held us up. That includes our family. x

Thankfully, no. I wouldn't have asked anyone to share those difficult days with me. Some things in life you must do alone.

No, I was all alone in the dark. I had to pull myself from the slough of despond by my own bootstraps.
