Depends on what you want to cover. To hide acne and other redness, use a yellow or geen concealor (or at least a skintone colored concealor with yellow undertones). You could probably get by with a good concealor that matches your skintone for smaller or lighter-colored blemishes.
To hide dark undereye circles, use a pink concealor which cancels out the blue tones. (However, if you have very purple-y circles, a lemony-yellow concealor might work best.)
I've never found a concealor I liked in the drugstores -- most had poor coverage and just didn't conceal like they should! Liquid ones weren't thick enough, and cream or stick ones just didn't last on my oily skin. When I switched to mostly mineral makeup, I started using Aromaleigh's Cream Concealor (www.aromaleigh.com -- click on Traditional Cosmetics) and it works wonderfully! The Pink concealor is excellent for undereye circles, and does not smear, rub off, or cake up in fine lines like all the other concealors I've tried. (Just use a bit of your regular foundation or a skintone-colored concealor on top, to blend in the pink!) The Lite color is a very good match for my pale skintone and works great at hiding blemishes and actually lasts all day. If you want to order anything from Aromaleigh, just make sure you order samples first because they don't accept returns!

Hi well I have read somewhere that you need 2 types of concelar a cream one and a liquid one, the liquid concelar is for around the eyes and is better if it has light diffusers in it, and a cream one is perfect for covering spots and blemishes, as your not suppose to but a cream concealer anywhere near your eyes, after you have applied your foundation you use the concelar not before you apply foudaition.
I recommend Tescos Barbara Dailys Concelar its fantasitc and although you have probably never heard of it it is brilliant and until discovered you realise when you get it how good it is and it has had loads of good reveiws this is the only concelar that covers spots rather than brings them out more.
I would use this as the cream foundation it comes in a pot and is really thick but not creasy, you dont need a lot a little smidge will be find to cover any redness or veins around the nose etc and it last ages.
As for the liquid concelars I have just moved onto these as well as I found out that your not suppose to use the cream ones on the eyes. I got a light diffusing one from super drug it was a cheap 2 true one and was only 1.95, but it does contain lanolin which I didnt know till I read the ingredients and if I use it on the rest of my face I get a rash but on my eyes it works fantastically.
As I dont want to be using this one around my eyes I am thinking of getting the avon invisible light concelar and there make up is fantastic, also its suppose to be just as good as Yves St Laurent Touch Eclait which is around 45 quid when this avon one is only 6 lol
So Im deffiantly going to try this one and it comes in every shade so it should be easy to find one to suit anyone skin perfectly.
I also seen in boots today a pre foundation sort of cover up which is a green make up base, its suppose to take out any redness from blemsihes the green dissapears leaving an even complexion and a even better base when applying foundation. so I might invert in some of this too.

Hi there,
What's the best concealer? My recommendation is to look for a light, sheer, water-based, oil free natural concealing cover makeup product that will allow the skin to look and feel like its natural self while concealing any imperfections or blemishes you may have. Now you can get a combination daily foundation and concealing cover creme with natural vitamins and antioxidants that will condition as well as protect the skin. I use it everyday and really love it. My skin feels soft and it feels like I am not wearing any makeup but yet completely covers any breakouts or blemishes I may have which although I am older, I still occassionally get.
I hope this information was helpful for you.

It depends what you are trying to conceal. Redness? Under eye circles? Pimples? Body flaws?
If it is for redness I recommend Laura Mercier Secret Camoflage:
I love this concealer because it smartly comes in 2 shades so you can blend your perfect match (you may notice you need different shades for different seasons). InStyle magazine made it a 'Best Beauty Buy' for '06, because the pros say its yellow undertones help make it the best concealer for covering up redness.

I depends on what you need to conceal. I like Almay concealer for oily skin to cover blemishes. Even tho it is a liquid it covers like a pan concealer and it has salasylic acid so it heals while you wear it.
For dark under eye circles I like Physicians Formula dual ended concealer in yellow/light. Has yellow on one end that you use first then put flesh toned over it and it covers amazingly and didn't settle into any creases or lines throughout the day.

Bare Minerals! I may sound like a commercial but it does wonders and my skin is healthier, you can sleep with it on and your skin looks so fawless.., Its amazing a starter pack is all you need for now and then you can get all the other stuff a little at a time its anywhere between $45-$65 bucks but you get a bunch of stuff and a dvd to explain how to use it. I love it!! i wont go back to regular greasy makeup!

Witch concealer with Witch Hazel in it. Make sure you use a cotton bud to apply it, or you just transfer the bactria from one pore to the next!

I don't have a particular brand that I like and I don't even wear it regularly. But I have found that the colored ones seem to work best. These are the ones where you apply green to cover red, and yellow to cover....whatever.
I just used some green stuff this morning to cover one of those instazits.
