Well if Jesus is in fact true, then morality must have boundaries, if morality has boundaries, then you must have personal responsibility in your morality. When you want free drug needles for addicts, when you want abortion on demand, when you want free medical care because of your own bad choices, or you want homosexual sex, then it goes in direct conflict in the teachings of Jesus. So kill the messenger or discredit him and then your morality is at the whim of the moment, thus you have now become a liberal.

I'd say conservatives hate Jesus Christ more than "liberals." Conservatives embrace the Old Testament for their reasoning regarding gay marriage (they never check the parts about adultery) and they believe that America will become the new Israel as God's chosen nation, which is unscriptural.

If you're saying that "liberals" are not believers, how do you expect those who are not believers to simply embrace Christianity when the religious right presents such poor examples of Christianity?

As it says in Romans 10:14:

"How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?"

Did Jesus ever condemn non-believers? Actually, He had compassion on non-believers, but condemned the religious leaders of the time for misleading the people.

Times haven't changed much.

Do you think Jesus would use the term "liberal"? Do you think Jesus would listen to Rush Limbaugh?

Do you think Jesus would be concerned about the issue of gay marriage? I think He would be concerned about the soul of the person considering gay marriage, and would reach out to them. I don't believe in gay marriage, but I believe Jesus would reach out to those in such things and seek to bring them out.

The trolls are out from under the bridge, I see. Generalization makes one really look stupid. Secondly anyone I know liberal or not doesn't hate Jesus Christ at all. In fact most of my liberal aquaintences I met in church or are as much into religion as those conservatives I know.

I don't recall ever hearing anyone (liberal, conservative or other) claim to hate Jesus. I think it's the atrocities and acts of bigotry and intolerance committed in his name that some people (myself, for instance) object to.

Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. I love Him. And I am most assuredly a liberal.

I'm a liberal and I have better things to do than waste my time hating anyone. Why do you hate ME so much? I've done nothing to you.

Call me liberated...I love Jesus Christ.

Do you love your neighbor as much as yourself? If your neighbor is someone that you label "liberal" do you love him/her...

Would jesus ever invade nations , argue the limatations of torture and care more for profit than health care. I think not . I believe in god and i think he would do none of these things or force people to act or believe in anyway. Jesus spreaded his word thru love not policies
