point of view for everything. My friends tell me its bad, but I look at it like this. If i think the worst, and the worst happens, im prepared. If I think the worst and it doesnt happen, im relieved. Do you think its better to be prepared for the worst or think everything will be golden?

Well I like to look at things in both ways. If either one happens I am not surprised. I think it can be bad to think everything will be fine and dandy because we all know things just happen. Then think everything will be bad can set you up for failure at times. So a mixture of both keeps everything good. You just have to know you tried your best.

I am told that I'm a complete pessimist. But like you, I think that I'm more prepared for all of the crap that comes my way in life.
When my husband says that he's got good news and bad news, I always ask to hear the bad news first. He hates that! He still doesn't understand me.

I think exactly the same way you do, I mean who wants to be caught off guard with a girl not liking you or you not getting that promotion

Be practical: things will never be totally bad, nor will it all be golden and sunshine.
