So I had bloodwork done and my doctor said my mononucleosis blood was a little high. I had more bloodwork done AGAIN last week, because she wanted to check it and be sure. But the results came back, and she says now that I don't have mono. What could this mean?

(And she didn't find anything else wrong with me.)

It means you don't have mono. You might have had it recently, and have now recovered from it; or you might have been exposed to the virus and your body successfully fought off an infection. Either way - it's simple - you don't have mono.

It could mean that your blood count was off because you were fighting a different infection, such as a minor cold or flu.... I'm assuming that she checked you for mono because you went in to find out why you were feeling crappy, right?

If the test came back fine, then I'd say there's probably nothing to worry about.

Mono? Aka "kissing disease" is transient, lasts about 6-8 weeks and they ask you to avoid strenous activities, contact sports due to enlargement of the pancreas.

You're scott free! Done, enjoy.
