I JUST GOT OVER A WEEK LONG COLD AND NOW I HAVE A DRY/ SORE THROAT WHAT SHOULD I DO TO GET RID OF IT I REALLY WANT TO GET BETTER PLEASE HELP =) AND I ALSO STILL FEEL STUFFY IN MY NOSE I WANT TO GET BACK TO ENJOYING LIFE PLEASE HELP THANKS! =)

The problem is most likely your stuffy nose. Use any over the counter nose un-stuffer you prefer. When your nose is clogged you breathe through your mouth especially when sleeping. That causes your throat to dry out and allows bacteria to flourish.

For quick temporary relief, take a hot steamy shower and gargle with warm salt water. Steam helps move congestion out of your nose and chest. Warm Salt water gargle soothes inflammation. \\

Use the Cold-Eze lozenges. It helps me get over a sore throat in a day or so. Also, use a humidifier to moisten the air that moves across your throat when you breathe.

get Cepacol candy from walgreens or rite aid or any store nearest you. I have not tried the liquid cepacol yet but the candy type works great. take two candy have it melt in your mouth one after another.

warm honey and lemon juice or sumthing i think.....it has a soothing effect....not sure though but could be worth a try!

otherwise just gargle with warm salt water (should be foolproof)
