With my second pregnancy I had morning sickness all 9 months. It was actually all day sickness. I threw up several times a week and felt nauseous most of the time right up until delivery. I couldn't gain much weight and the only thing that helped me was eating tiny "mini meals" 6-8 times a day. I had 3 other babies and never experienced any morning sickness with my last. My first and third were more text-book version pregnancies and sometime in the second trimester, I was feeling much better. Every woman and every pregnancy is different. Whether you have no morning sickness or have continuous morning sickness or morning sickness ends in the second trimester it can all be perfectly normal. You just have to watch for dehydration when you have extended morning sickness. My sister-in-law always ended up in the hospital a couple times during her pregnancies because her morning sickness was so severe. She had to be re-hydrated, evaluated, and observed before she could go home.

Everyone is different with this. Some are lucky and do not get it at all. I read once that morning sickness is a sign of good strong pregnancy, but yet if you don't have morning sickness it doesn't mean that you don't have a strong pregnancy *I don't know why they even bought that up if you ask me*

For me...I started getting naseus around 6 weeks. I threw up for the first time at 7 weeks and continued to vomit AT LEAST once a day until my 20 week appointment. Then I was nauseus off and on the rest of the pregnancy. I only vomited one time after my 20 weeks.

It's different for everyone...mine didn't stop completely until I was 23 weeks along, but I had a severe case. A lot of doctors think that morning sickness peaks around 8-10 weeks or somewhere at the end of the first trimester. Congrats and hope you start feeling better soon!

Sorry- but some people throw up the entire nine months. I know that I did. I was throwing up three times a day for the first half the the pregnancy. Thankfully it went down to three times a week. Most people do stop throwing up by week 16 though. I am sure you will be one of those people.

Morning sickness begins around week 6 of pregnancy, peak during week 8 or 9 and wane after week 13.The main cause of morning sickness is a combination of issues related to the chemical changes your body is going through. Mine started at about 7 weeks and ended at about 14 weeks. I never actually threw up, I think I would have felt better if I had! I felt like I had really bad motion sickness. I tried everything but am sorry to say that nothing really helped...I lived on bran muffins and wanted my food to be as bland as possible. Luckily for most people I think it's over by 14 weeks.
Good luck!

For some woman it ends at the 1st trimester (13 weeks), for others it can last the whole pregnancy.

The sickness will stop when your body adjusts to the rising levels of hormones that it is being inundated with. It's different for every pregnancy.

This is my 3rd pregnancy and I have to deal with morning sickness in all three all the way up until birth... It is not fun at all.
