Does anyone have a remote starter installed on their car? How do you like it and does it really work and from how far away?

ive had a few remote starts in various cars since the late 90's. only 1 had problems where it would try to start the car while already started. replaced the system with a new one and no problems. range varies depending on surroundings mainly. city will be less than in the burbs, mainly because of other alarms etc.

I've had one on my 93 Grand Prix for 10 years and never had a problem. It was made by Auto Alarm and I was told I had the first one in the state at that time. It's a nice unit that has a paging alarm also, panic buttom, trunk pop, LCD display and about a 1000 foot range which is nice if you park far away from work or shopping. I paid 300.00 --installed---back in 97 and it's been great to use-- in Wisconsin winters especially.
