i seen your question earlier about moving to the new England area.i lIve in eastern c.t. this is the most expensive state to live in.even i want to move from here.ive visited Vermont which seems like a nice place to live except for the weather is worse than here.but there is nothing for work up there either.central and upper states are less populated than the coasts.but if you like alot of people stick to the coastal areas.its obvious to state that the less population the less crime.

Colorado..more sunny days than Miami and/or San Diego.
Crime...only in the bad neighborhoods, $$$$$-better get here quick, things are on the rise, but housing market still poor so nows a good time
PS Learn to drive in the snow before you get here

Parts of FL may be okay for you. Parts of Maryland are cheap and have great weather.
Colorado is wonderful, but it does snow a lot in the winter.

i live in vermont nice state low crime nice to raise your children up in school systems awsome cmon up to the green mountain state you will love it here people are friendly.

SOUTH FLORIDA!!!
well.. actually pretty expensive down here... and hot...plenty of hurricanes too. Markets pretty bad right now also. and gas prices!! were going broke!
damn..south Florida doesn't sound so good anymore.. I'm moving! LOL!
