Every two hours I get extremely hungry I am eight weeks pregnant I bring food with me to work and around but sometimes I can't get to food right away and I get extreme hunger pains. Are these pains signs that me being hungry is effecting the baby or is this normal. Sometimes they get so bad I have to stop what i'm doing then even after I eat it takes a while for me to get back to normal {well at least some what normal}

I was the same at that stage, only if i didn't eat i was extremely sick. I got hyperemesis so had to eat little and often. It is normal to feel like this in pregnancy, even now at 8 months i get hunger pains if i don't eat although i can go about 4 hours now. It used to be worse for me till tea time! After i had my main meal it calmed down.

Don't worry about baby though because my doctor told me that he/she will take what they need leaving you feeling like ****. Babies are perfect parasites but nice ones i might add. Just drink plenty too as you do need your fluids. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy. x x x

It's probably not a good idea to let yourself get that hungry.
I am constantly hungry too so I just snack on crackers or a half a piece of fruit or something small thru the day instead of eating big meals

good luck

Hunger is a sign that your body needs fuel, and you might have low blood sugar. The lower it gets, the more shakey and dizzy and sick you feel. You need to carry some small snacks with you, even if it's just a few graham crackers or something.

Being hungry never affects your baby. Your body will break down fat stores and muscle to take what it needs even if the mother herself is starving to death. You don't need to worry about baby being hungry. It always gets nutrients from you, constantly.

Your body is very busy making the baby right now. I got extremely hungry in the beginning too. I had to eat NOW or I just got nausueous from being too hungry. Try to eat a little something every hour or two to keep the hungries away. This 1st trimester is very very busy for your baby and your body needs those extra calories. It sounds normal...just make healthy choices in what you eat. Good luck.

I am sure there will be people who will answer differently than me, but I only know what I went through with my pregnancies. I was RAVENOUS! I'd say about the same time frame as you too. My husband used to say that we could never get too far away from a restroom or food. It turned out fine, though. I have an 8 year old daughter and a 19 year old son.

when i was pregnant.. i couldnt get enough food.. which i am paying for now.. darn these last fer pregnancy lbs.... but no they cant hurt the baby... the baby is going to take what it needs form you. which is why you need to eat more.. for yourself.. the baby is taking so you need to refuel.. just watch the fatty food.. take healthy snacks. after you have your bundle of joy you dont want to keep the i am hungry feeling so eating a lot of little meals now will help you when it comes to shedding the weight after he/she is here! good luck and congrats!

They won't hurt the baby. Hunger means that your stomach is empty and you need more nutrition. The baby will take whatever it needs from your body no matter what.

eating small frequent meals is best. snack on crackers, or something. have them on you at all times for the hunger attacks.
