Which one?
Keith Gretzky?
- drafted by the Sabres but never played for them. Spent a couple of years in Rochester, got called up once (against LA as it was) but never dressed. Keith went on to become a minor league coach. Keith was granted the same exemption that John Tavares was granted and allowed to play in the OHL as a 15 year old.
Brent Gretzky?
- drafted by Tampa Bay but was a borderline NHLer playing a handful of games with Tampa while playing decently well for their farm team. After Tampa 'low-balled' him an offer in 1995, Cliff Fletcher signed him to a contract with the Leafs. That contract was terminated after a year to allow Brent a chance to find a contract elsewhere. He eventually settled into the United Hockey League playing for brother Keith.
Bob
Bobby and Dennis Hull scored over 900 goals
I think you are referring to
'Which PAIR of NHL brothers have combined for the most points" That answer is Wayne and Brent Gretzky
And the word pair is important because the Sutter Brothers combined for almost 3500 points.

Keith, Brent or Glenn? None were supposed to be stars. Keith never made it. Brent I think scored 1 NHL goal. I don't think Glenn even played junior.
Good trivia though- What brother combo has the most goals in the NHL? Gretzkys 895. Wayne had 894 of them.

I don't think at any time during their minor or pro careers that any of Gretzky's brothers were pegged to be a star.

Brent played parts of two seasons in the NHL with Tampa Bay, for a total of 13 games in the early 1990s. After that, he kicked around pretty much every minor league, spending a large chunk in the UHL.
Keith never made it to the NHL, spending time bouncing around the minors and including a brief stint in Finland.
