No, but I often think I should. Of course, I usually think that right AFTER I've dropped something on myself or dripped grease down the front of my sweater....

I'm not sure I understand you. Are you obeying your husband or are you listening to yourself? If you've always worn an apron while cooking or in the kitchen and now do so now you're married then there's nothing wrong with it. If you are only doing it to appease your husband then yes, there is something very wrong with that. Your friends position is not uncommon and is even understandable. Some really do feel is is a sign of oppression where others look at it for what it is. Practical. Overall, I see nothing wrong with an apron as long as it's something one likes to wear. I enjoy wearing one in the kitchen. Sure, my husband thinks it's "cute", to me it's practical. To be clear, my husband also likes me in 6 inch stelleto's in the kitchen and NO i do not wear those while cooking.

No, I really don't see the point. If no one is coming over I just slip on an old shirt. Me and my boyfriend cook dinner together and neither one of us would even think of wearing one.

It depends on what I'm cooking. If the prep. and cooking is going to be messy then yes I do.

If I'm dressed for company I'll throw one on so I don't have to change.
I rarely accessorize with high heels or pearls though.
