if i dont have my monitor for the computer, can i get on using my tv as a monitor?

If it is an older "picture tube" TV, then do not bother. If you can do it the picture will be so blurry that you will not be able to read it.

If it is a HDTV, then you can.

First, your computer has to have a composite (RCA) output. Most laptops do. Most desktops do not. Run a cable from the RCA jack of the computer to the RCA video input of the TV. Set the TV on the appropriate channel to see input from the RCA jack (may be channel 3 or a special Input channel). Boot the PC.

Oh, and if you want sound also, you will need to run a cable from the speaker/headset jack of the computer to the RCA audio input jack of the TV.

You could if you have the right set up and cables and hook ups on the TV.
its not something that you can normally do. But newer TV's have hook ups if you have the cables for it.
