Yes, twice, both times as a child, and the second time lasted five years and into my early teens. Both times were also, strangely, an extension of the guy stalking my mother - they just started stalking me too. They were complete stranger stalkings as well, very scary stuff, and this was in the late 70's and early 80's before we had stalker laws in my state.

Luckily both situations ended with nothing really bad ever happening. My mom's lawyer somehow found out who the first guy was, and when he threatened the guy it ended immediately. The second guy actually followed us when we moved back to our hometown five hours away from where we lived when he started the stalking. But he eventually gave up about a year later. He'd better be glad to, because he would have been in for more than he bargained for if he ever had the chance to find out what a serious b***h I grew into as an adult!

Yes.....and it sucks. -_-

Long story short, a former roommate of mine got the idea in his head that I stole food from him....and became obsessed with a) catching me "red-handed" and then b) kicking my tail to the curb for it.

I had to get a restraining order. I would have taken care of it myself, but my health doesn't let me fight anymore, and we were of different races, so that would have made things worse (I'm white, he wasn't). For some three years I didn't have a telephone, was shut away from my family (who couldn't contact me through public channels because of the anti-stalking measures).

And now? I see my former stalker out and about. We don't talk. He minds his business, I mind mine, and we most likely *watch each other* out of the corners of our eyes, for our mutual safety. His presence makes me tense, but so long as he does nothing to me, I really can't do so much, the guy has to be free to live his life after all.

I wouldn't say it's the best way to resolve the problem, but since neither one of us is leaving town....it may be the only way.

Hope this helps. -_-

I've been followed a couple of times. There was only one who truly scared me. He was older and an officer with the student loan department assigned to giving me a larger loan. He used to drive by my house and would report back to me that he noticed my boyfriends car there. He was my doctors son just to make matters worse. I should have reported his behaviour but well I was a little scared.
Oh yeah, he was married too.

One guy followed me into the lobby of my apartment to tell me how lovely I was only to be upset when I told him that I didn't really appreciate this.

Yes I have. Some creep. He actually got caught though in the act of peeping into my window. He got arrested and was told not to come near me again. I was 14. But got lucky I guess since he was arrested not long after that for raping some woman.

Yes, I use to do house calls for hard to stick patients to get their blood draws. One male Greek man followed me to the hospital, my car, etc., I had to be escorted to my car when I left the hospital, change my way of going home each day, etc. It got really bad. He was finally arrested and put in a mental ward. I moved to another state and don't have to worry about that anymore.

Yes, they knew everything down to the color of my panties. It freaked me out. It went on for a year, and then he was caught. I came to find out it was some guy who worked at the bank i go to. And he even went as far as taking pictures of me sleeping. Freaky crap like articles of my clothing were found in his car. It was a violating & scary thing to go through.

Once. I left for college in another state and had no further problems from him. Last I heard, he was in jail for stalking someone else.

Yeah...not as bad as some of these folks...thank goodness, but still scary!
It actually taught me a lesson...I had been stupid enough to put a little too much specific personal information one of my pages, so...THAT is changed now...

Yes. Very scarey. Someone told my friends that he would kill me and he tried to by driving my little sports car off the road with his SUV. It was a very bizarre event. That person is now dead. He was so consumed by hate that he had a stroke.
