LP is your Luteral Phase, which is the time between ovulation and your next period. Normally it's 14 days, but for some women it's shorter than that. Anything less than 10 days is considered a luteral phase defect.

Do you mean LMP, last menstual period? LP is lipid panel. Or luteal phase, which is counted from the the day you ovulate until the first day of your period. You need a luteal phase of at least 10 days in order to conceive. Mine is 12 days, so on day 13 when I had no period I knew I was pregnant.

Your luteal phase begins with teh day after ovulation being day 1 and the day before your period starts beign the last day. The average is 14 days, but can be from 10-16 and still be "normal". This phase of your cycle should be the same EVERY cycle.
