the only reason cons talk about nonsense like that on here is because of bill oreilly they do whatever he wants them to do,they won't be mad about something untill bill is.before his rants about the war on christmas i seldomly heard of any cons complaining about it on here

No, it has been going on well after the end of the Roman empire ended. The Puritans in America, for example, considered Christmas to be a pagan holiday. Other Christian denominations have also banned Christmas at one point or another in their history. By the way the Puritans are hardly what one could call liberals.

No, I don't believe so. Christmas as we know it really came out of the Victorian Age.

But keep in mind lots of Christians don't like Christmas either. I have worked in the past alongside Jehovah Witnesses and nothing got them riled up more than the company Christmas party.
