Lately, it has been in the mid 60's. There are a couple of storms moving through that you might want to prepare for. These seem to be hitting mostly the Pacific Northwest, but they look pretty big, so it's probably a good idea to at least bring an umbrella.
I have not been wearing a jacket out, but wouldn't want to go without a sweater. If you're going to be outside for your sightseeing, I'd probably recommend a light jacket.
EDIT:
The weatherman is reporting that the storms that were supposed to stay up north may now swing farther south than expected. There is a fairly significant chance of rain on the weekend, and temps are expected to be in the high 50's to low 60's.

Cold, probably sunny, some wind.
Dress in layers and bring something to block the wind, SF gets pretty chilly.
