...we are going to need one when Cheney and Bush leave office...=)...hope we get it...Merry Christmas there Alex...hope you hav a safe one.
In answer to your question-I rarely report my experiences...but you seem like a good soul...well...I died... and when I left...I was overwhelmed with a feeling of joy...(I omit what I saw because those that won't believe will try stealing the moment)...I can only say that....I know it sounds crazy...but I was told it wasn't my time...and in an instant I awoke...and later was told what happened to me......my body...I mean...after...as I contemplated my visit "elsewhere"...I could only think about my life...in front of me....and day in and day out...I'm became very conscious of people and their direction...that's not to say I found mine....but...outside of this cyber world I live to serve my friends and family and those in need...the best I can.
True story-
For all the detractors...I already exhausted everything wriiten about these dreams that we hav when the body has suffered trauma-it doesn't fit my experience...nor does it help me understand anything other than I believe we all hav a destiny...

I am familiar with the miracles of Agustine and Aquinas. I studied in high school and college at the University of Sto. Tomas, the oldest university in the Philippines, and all learnings were incorporated with his principles, which is always for the common good. The same with Augustine. But I did not experience miracles, except that I imbibed in my life the same moral principles.
As for Hume and Locke, I donot know.
I have thought about miracles and I have experienced many.
I have a gift of healing and I have acquired miracles for myself and for others, in this aspect , which is healing of physical sickness. It is only limited because I can only heal people close to me.
Miracle is a phenomenen whereby, problems that cannot be remedied normally or where the power of man failed , have been remedied under extraordinary circumstances that science and human reasoning cannot explain, except by the profession of a faith, that a supernatural force greater than man, intervened and made impossible things possible.
The only recourse to a miracle that I experienced is through prayers and during the process, have to be done with good works and sacrifices, in order for it to occur. So, it is not easy to access to it, but if the requirements are fulfilled, it really does make things impossible such as the cure of cancer, the extension of life of a dying person, and the transformation of a financial difficulty to financial gains without the usual hard work one has to exert.
But still, miracles does not make our life perfect and without difficulties and without problems, for these things are part of our lives and will continue to come. But they can be solved and recharge us to face the next difficulty. It makes us realize that there is really a supernatural force greater than human power that has the tendency to intervene for the good. If it is for the bad, it can also happen, but that is not called a miracle anymore.

When he was younger, my son had the most severe kind of epilepsy you can get. Sometimes he had up to 20 or more seizures a day and of 3 different kinds. After about a year and a half of this, we went on a vacation to an island with my parents. There was lots of fresh ocean air and sun. The seizures dropped way off and then stopped. He outgrew his epilepsy and was weened off of the meds (2 kinds) epilepsy, never having any nasty dental side effects from Dilantin. The only lasting effect was a dysgraphia (which could have been inherited) and laptops came into existence while he went through high school. Even his neurologist considered it a "miracle". He had put me in touch once with a family who had a 12 year old son who was having up to 200 seizures a day. Thank you for reminding me, because it is now about 20 years later, and I should be thankful and positive every day.

I was out of the country and came down deadly sick. I ended up in the emergency room and after several test and 48 hours they found four tumors they said was cancer. They told me i needed surgery right away. I hadn't liked the hospital mostly because of the language barrier. I opted to fly home and see my own doc.
Well once i got back i went right to the hospital with all the labs and results taken from Spain. My doctors wanted to do the testing over which was done and i got the same end results.
My family was with me i was prepped and ready for surgery the next morning. We prayed and cried and i said good bye's because I had a 40/60 chance of survival.
Next thing i know I'm in recovery and my doctor asked me, "what do you believe in, and who do you pray too?" I said Jesus Christ, why do i need him now is something wrong?!!!? Mind you I'm freaking out.
He said "well your prayers were answered if i hadn't done all of my own test and the biopsy myself. I would never have believe you had those four tumors. They were gone, i mean no sign of them. We looked every where and looked over slides to make sure we were in the right place. Even though I knew there were no other places to be. I still can not believe this!"
I asked if i could go home he said i could. Later that day I went home, I've tested and been checked up for the return of the issue the past two years and no sign of return has occurred.
I wasn't the best christian i could be and i didn't attend church very often. All I can say is i got a miracle that day, and God is GOOD!

What could mortal humans know about miracles? Is it a manifestation of some physical affliction, or illusion that turns life upside down? Or just the birth of a baby into this ******** world.? I probably had miracles that happened to me or someone I knew but took it for what it was, just a coincidence. One was having survived a quadruple heart bypass, leaving the hospital in three weeks.

I think miracles happen everyday, but people fail to realize they are happening everyday. When they stop happening then we need to start worrying. It is a miracle that we are alive each day that during the night we did not breath in the wrong way or our heart did not just stop on us, because it does not take very much to kill our fragile bodies. So we are walking miracles and it is perception that makes us think that life is not miraculous because it .

I have experienced a couple of miracles, in my estimation. I do not mean that these occurrences had divine aspects insofar as they were driven by a deity. They are fabulous events that have happened to me that I cannot explain. And that is what I know about miracles. :)
I don't feel like I need a miracle... but when they happen, they make me smile. :)

I believe in miracles. First of all, it might interest you to know that I am a Christian. you can understand the first reason why. Second, i have experienced miracles twice, on both occasions with angels, both bordering on life and death.
Miracles are supernatural interventions in man's affairs. That is based on the assumption that there IS an omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent uncreated creator who moves all things.

I have experienced two miracles. I can't explain the fact that I am alive and not seriously injured any other way.
