I would have a tendency to state, "It will be futuristic!"
Electronics will continue to get smaller, exploration will continue to enrich our knowledge as a whole, and the world would gain potential as being a better place to live.
All I just typed in, though, is totally dependant upon how hard we, as a race of sentient beings, are willing to work for it, and how willing we are to accept each other as we grow.

For me, today IS the future! And I have to say, I am really disappointed, because it is pretty much like the past.
Back in the 1960s when I was growing up we were sending the first missions to the Moon and there were all kinds of predictions of solving pollution and all kinds of problems, and having hotels in space and high speed monorails between cities and bases on other planets and accident free cars and all kind of stuff in that almost magical future year of 2001. I remember thinking at the time how far in the future that was and how I would be an old man in 2001 but would live to see it all, and was so excited. Now I am here and I am REALLY disappointed!

I remember articles about how life will be in the year 2000. Wonderful predictions. Almost all wrong. The 1964 worlds fair in NY had beautiful dioramas of modern clean cities with wonderful highways..., What a crock!! Basically things have gotten dirtier, more dangerous, and less gracious. There are some nice Gizmos though. No one ever imagined videogames. So my prediction for the future is dirtier, even more dangerous, even more annoying music (if that's possible) and some really cool gizmos.

Humans will still ask idiotic questions. The only difference is that there will be alot more electronic devices on the market.

For all practical purposes just the same as today. Nature's laws don't change.
