so that i can split songs and cut different ones together and then put it on a cd?

i cannot understand why would you want to cut a song. if you are editing a song to make a ringtone, you can use adobe audition, and i think windows live messenger version 9 (still in beta) got a free ringtone maker that goes with it.

put them in a cd, you mean burning a cd-audio format? you can use windows media player, or nero

if you want to burn them as data/ mp3s, use nero, or use windows explorer.

to cut songs i use VIRTUALDJ ,is good program to cut songs and is vey basic to use,
