I'm thinking yes, but then again, in a place so cold are shorts ever necessary? Let me know, especially if you actually are from Alaska.

The temps in the summer can be very warm, so yes they sell shorts. I worked on the North Slope one summer, the temperature up there on the tundra was well into the 70s many days. All that ice and snow melts in the summer, with the exception of the high mountain peaks. But that is the same in the lower 48.

Also worked on the North Slope in the winter - where the temperature was routinely -50 F.

Alaska temperatures in the summer can get over 90 degrees in the interior. SO I'm sure they do sell shorts in the spring

yes i lived in fairbanks alaska for 5 years and its gets pretty hot in the summer so of course they sell shorts
