As a 24/7 liberal I try not to associate with Yuppies.

The Yuppie men do not appreciate the Arts. And the Yuppie women think they are Artists

Yuppie tends to imply that we're rich. Though I wish that were so, it is not the case. Further, many, many neo-libs are quite wealthy. I should network, but I don't usually. Is there something wrong with it or do you not know how? Perhaps you have no one with which to network. Yes, I have some "real friends." Most of them are Dems. Go figure!

When you need help on something do you call a friend? This is the same as "yuppie cons" networking

It sounds like you are doing a lot of generalizing. If you feel you must categorize people, then perhaps you are the one who isn't able to make any real friends. Try not to take your misfortune out on others by judging them. That's not cool, and likely won't help you with your situation or bitterness.

Depends on the Yuppie.

Oh, we have many friends, including professional colleagues. Perhaps the lib mind set that this is somehow disengenous (which you espouse) accounts for so many libs on the welfare rolls.

Networking is one of the most basic of business principles out there.

Sorry you don't grasp the concept.

Some of my business associates are my friends.

Some aren't

Some of my friends are Libs.

I still like them.

Any other little tidbits you'd like to throw out there?

And how can a liberal be in favor of socialism and against networking?

No...I usually steer clear of lib acquaintences since most are either unemployed or under employed and still living with their parents.
