No, middle eastern fairy tales and fantasy creatures are only used as a excuse to the gullible to covering craven abuses of power.

To think they know the mind of"God" is ridiculous. For some reason they find comfort in this when they have no other recourse. Now I don't agree with the idea there isn't something bigger than us. I believe in possibilities. I do agree very much with wake up and solve the problem.

The really magnificent thing about God is that He lets us make our own decisions.
We are thinking beings, with free will. We make or break our own world, and it is a measure of God's love for us that we are allowed to be the best, or worst we can be.
The best thing you can do for your child is to allow them to make mistakes. That is how they learn.
As God is our Father, how could He do any less than a good parent here?
The down side of all this is, that we, you and I, have to take responsibility for the state of the world we live in.
It is very easy to blame God. That eliminates any responsibility that we may have, but sorry, it doesn't work.
He gave us free will. What an awesome gift, or curse.

Typically when one asks a question they do not also give an answer to it. At that point it becomes a statement. Does the US Constitution grant the right to believe in God? It does. So why don't you think we have the right to believe what we want?

Your questions are not new they have been around along time. Its the "why" list and for anyone to answer them is just guess work. Age helps satisfy a lot of questions, keep an open mind and be amazed how your opinions changes.

God gave humans the ability to think and to reason. We make decisions that affect our world and our lives based on those abilities. He is not a puppeteer controlling every event on Earth. If that was His intent why would He have given humans the ability to think and to reason?

Actually, intolerance and unwillingness to understand others is just silly. And you're putting it forward in your own way as much as anyone. Wake up and solve the problem!

I've noticed that the rich seem to have God on their side more than the poor. Darfur comes to mind.

..."Well that God thing is just silly..." .
You can imagine how much of that opinion of your matters to Christians.
The world is not without sin. Of course, we all know that .....how silly of you.
And where there is sin, there will always be problems and heartache and wrong doing.
Your revelation is hardly anything new here.
