from someone that you graciously accept, but inside you want to say "Enough already!"?

For me it is Aunt Ruth's "homemade fruitcake" (I don't know what she uses but it tastes different than anyone elses) or neckties (I have hundreds).

No, Jerry, I'm not an old guy.. I have to wear suits quite often in business, so certain people think I always need more ties. It's my Aunt Ruth that is old. lol

lol @ fruit cake.

Believe it or not, my x-mil used to make THE BEST Fruit cake in the world. EVERYONE loved it and asked for it every year.

My most hated gift would have to be... Household appliances and dishware... and even household decoration pieces. I have my OWN tastes and my OWN likes and dislikes and DO NOT like others trying to figure out what I like or don't like.

I look at something, if I like it - I say so, if I don't I pass it by with an "ewww" or an "omg UG_LEE"

lol

Money, gift cards, or perfume. Money and gift cards are so impersonal and take no thought. And the perfume is always something I wouldn't wear if it were the only bottle left on earth. It is also a cop-out gift. I'd rather have a tin of home made fudge, or cookies, or something made by the giver. Or the least expensive pair of ear rings at Target, because they thought they looked like something I would like, than $1000.00 in cash of gift cards. I am a firm believer that it is the thought that counts. And yes, I get the cop-out gifts every year from some people.

Yea just cause I am a bartender people seem to think I need shot glasses and bottle openers.I get tons of Wine glasses to!I mean the insanity doesnt stop because i display the glasses and shot glasses cause basically i have no where else to store it and If i put one friends/familys gift up I have to put them all up. So they come to my house and see all this and yet they still buy me more and Im starting to think it is because I have them displayed people think I really like them or something. lol.. I appreciate it, dong get me wrong but No one ever thinks that maybe I`d like something more personal.Or something fun.. Ya know?
Its like bath lotion to,. It seems like when people dont know you that well but still kinda
"have" to or want to get you something cause you work with them or they are distant relatives coming for the holidays they always buy you bath lotions.. LOL.. I feel like I smell or something!!

I am Scrooge. I don't see the point in spending the same amount of money to get everyone presents they have to exchange. And I hate all the wrapping paper and bows everywhere. Chirstmas is for kids to me and I don't have any. I give money envelopes now and everything is fair.

I always get socks and undies from my mom, and I'm running outta room already!! Wouldn't be so bad if she didn't get me like 5 packs of each, but OH well I guess I should be thankful that I have clean undies for every occasion!! LOL Merry Christmas! =)

This may be weird, but Jewelry...I get it all the time, especially bracelets and necklaces. I have a ton of them, and I never wear them. I'm a watch, ring, and earrings type of girl. Why does everyone think I want Jewelry??

Theres an elderly lady living next door to me and she bakes us home made "Mince Pies" every Christmas, only problem is she's not to good with her eye sight lol, one year the filling was "Branston Pickle" and the next Heaps of Salt was used as she thought it was sugar! bless her. We wish it would stop as we have to sit in front of her eating these pies as not to offend LOL.

I never have this problem sorry.
But maybe if you tell people what you would like.
Otherwise just be grateful that people think about you during the holidays
