Actually no.
It is a little known fact, for some reason, that Mexican culture is very conservative... very much so.
If you negate the fact Democrats are the ones supporting Mexican immigration more so than Republicans, they would probably vote Republican.
I really don't see it as a partisan issue if you examine the numbers... I am a far left liberal with an ex significant other from Mexico and we both do NOT support illegal immigration.
It appears to be more regional as far as where ppl stand on the issue. If you are in an area with a high level of illegals, you tend to be against it no matter what party you are in. If you are in an area that is not seeing them very much, you tend to be more sympathetic to their cause.

I have an issue with My President who is a so called Republican On environment issues. So yes if people feel strong that way on any issue they should speak out I don't support someone on issues if they are wrong just because they are my party of choice. I don't think it would make a difference. Who wants a team player who is hurting the team or their home.
And Many say what they are not anyways
But people would have an affect on how Government parties act. You could be right there. they do go with the majority of voters rather they support the idea or not often.

The term--"Hispanic immigrants" conjures up a legal immigrant that has come here from some country south of our border. No one has a problem with them. The problem seems to arise when Mexicans sneak in the country as illegal aliens!! They want to play by their rules and suck the Govt. t*t!! I don't think any normal politician wants that!! We have quite a few politicians that are AB normal, like the Frankenstein movie!! Most of them are Dems USMC 60-68

I think there's a distinction between "immigrants" and "illegal immigrants," here. Further, the vast majority of immigrants -- both legal and illegal -- are Hispanic, so I think it's even more necessary to highlight the distinction.
And illegal immigrants cannot vote, so your question is interesting but not really relevant. I'm not trying to sound insulting, here, just trying to highlight some points.

It isn't immigration that we have a problem with. It also isn't Hispanic immigration that we have a problem with. It is ILLEGAL immigration that we have a problem with. What part of illegal do you not understand? Should I let people steal from me because, while it is illegal, they may need my stuff more then I do? If it is illegal then we shouldn't have to tolerate it, no matter what the crime or the reason for the crime.

As a republican, I don't have any problem with immigration. Unless, of course, those immigrants chose to commit a felony, as the very first thing they did in this country. (entering into this country illegally is a felony)

Nah...The republicans are pure aren't they? They keep telling me that. They can't be so shallow that they would let petty political differences get in the way of treating people the right way would they? They keep telling me that is how Democrats act.
But geez all the Hispanics I know are big on Family Values. Close knit families, great friends and neighbors. Maybe they just vote for people whose actions reflect Family Values as opposed to people who only use words to talk about family values.
