Yes. And unfortunately it can end badly at times when that happens. The thing about speaking is not always what you say... it's that you can't take it back once it's said. So if you say something really ignorant or stupid... then people might forgive you but they won't forget.

Sometimes... we should be listening more than we speak... that's why we have two ears and one mouth.

I actually think most people don't think before they speak, unless they are talking to like a teacher, sometimes a parent, or someone of authority. Or when your really angry, stressed, or annoyed.

This is like most of the time. If people just waited they would not get theirselves in trouble by not thinking before they speak.

Yep! All people do that. it is sometimes a personality thing. very introverted people tend to thin and not say anything most of the time. But very extroverted people tend to verbalize their thoughts withought thining it over. Just different minds wor differently.

ALL THE TIME! Some people don't have filters or an "editing" system on the things they say! I think people like that just aren't matured enough to consider their words more carefully.

Yes...I believe that everyone has had a moment or two when they should have waited before responding....we are all human...just apologize if you hurt someone in the process and keep going...and learn from your mistakes and if you felt what you said...just learn to break it to them easier next time.

I don't just think it, I KNOW it. There should be a filter between the thought process and speech. Some people never had that, others have clogged filters that need replacing.
