Personally I like crushed ice. I cools the drink faster.

I like ice cubes. Crushed ice does make the drink colder faster, but I always use ice cubes in my drinks since that's all I have at home.

How I drink cold beverages depends on what I eat and my purpose of drinking - to quench my thirst for water, or to fill my stomach but not with solid food.
Usually, I'd choose ice cubes simply because it only makes my drink cold. Crushed ice, on the other hand, makes me REALLY full when I'm done with a full glass of it (say, mocha frapuccino) compared to when I drink regular iced drink. In short, ice cubes cure my thirst but crushed ice makes me full.
