My husband and I were JUST talking about that subject last night. Because Taylor is deceased, the contract would be considered void.

NFL contracts are based on games played. If you don't play a game, then you don't get paid anyway. His passing means that his contract is cancelled by default.

Most likely the widow will get a death package of some sort. I doubt that she needs it, I think she's already rich as hell. I imagine the mom might get something, I would hope.

I would say it's voided , he was not on the job , so the team is not obligated to take care of his family , i dont know if he was married or had any children but i dont think thats it's the teams responsiblilty to take care of them .
