yes it could along with a few other things like bad stabalizer bar bushings, control arm bushings, ETC., get it checked out before something breaks and you have no steering.

Sounds like an inner CV joint. Inners usually knock or clunk, outers make a clicking or snapping noise.

A knocking while turning is usually your cv joint.

possibly, but if the car is front wheel drive, check the cv joints and wheel bearings.
