Yes. I use to do that when my parents would give me money to buy something. I'd go get it on sale and tell them I paid full price. I would keep the change. How horrible I was.

Oh yeah, it makes my head swell! I'm a super thrifty shopper. I hate paying full price for anything. I let people know how wealthy I am by riding around in my Cadillac, but the thing is, it only cost me $3900.

Not actually I just say that I didn't buy it in a sale,and that was actually really cheap, and the other stupid people just paid more for the same thing!
