There's so much talk about Farve not winning at Texas stadium, so I thought I'd pose a broader question....

I wonder if the Cowboys want to play at Lambeau in January 08?

I can't tell you an actual example, but I'm sure the Cowboys have won in Green Bay. Think about the DOMINANT teams the Cowboys have had over the years. Favre has only played a few times (compared to a TEAM) at Texas Stadium.

Quick (and perhaps careless) check of the records shows that the Cowboys have only played in GB 3 times, since 1990, and are 1-2. Alltime they are 3-7 (1 playoff loss) in GB and 11-5 at home (1 playoff loss and several playoff wins. Sorry, didn't count them.).

Nobody wants to play at Lambeau Field in January. Bu to answer your question, Yes the Cowboys have won games there. But it isn't an easy task. You also have to remember, if the NFC championship game is played there, Tony Romo should be fine considering he grew up in Wisconsin.

They dont.. no team would.

But, I think people are jumping the gun if they assume the winner of this game is locked for home field.

This will give the other team only their 2nd loss. Does that mean its unthinkable that the team who wins couldnt lose 2 or more games the rest of the reason? Both teams still have tough divison games to go and anything can happen.

They have, but not since 1991:

They beat the Packers several times in the 1990s, but most of those games were at home.
