One of his first was "Brainstorm" with Natalie Wood. He plays a scientist and has love scenes (I mean kissing)......something you don't see him do anymore.

Deer Hunter, Dead Zone, True Romance (he's in it briefly but a memorable scene), Biloxi Blues, Suicide Kings, The Rundown, Pulp Fiction (same as True Romance). I have never seen the prophecy or king of NY which are supposed to be good too.

He's good in everything! One I really enjoy even though he is only in it for a few mins is True Romance. Him and Dennis Hopper share an awesome scene, and the movie itself is kick a$$.

At Close Range (80s movie with Sean and Chris Penn)...Basically plays head of a crime gang and gets his sons(the Penns) involved with it...but it has a cool ending...
