IF the Buckeyes go they will get crushed, we all know that. If they go and lose, should they be banned from playing in the National Championship for say ohhhhh 5 years for the good of college football?

You seem to be a wise man and I will have to agree with you on everything. I'll even toast you with a beer sometime.

I do not think that the Ohio State University should even be ranked #3 and I have a feeling that unless the voters are blinder than bats, that they wont be in the top #5 after this weekend if all the other major players get their jobs done and especially if teams like LSU really put a pouncing on Tenn in the SEC championship game or if Virginia Tech avenges its loss to BC in a convincing manner and so on. If some of these teams win convincingly and the top two win their games, Ohio shouldn't show up in the top 5 next Sunday when the polls are released unless the voters already have their minds made up regardless of results

LOL, Great question. I agree but am afraid banned is completely rediculous. They do have a legitimate ball club sometimes. I think they should let OSU and Hawaii duke it out in the "We are division 1 and play nobodies every year Bowl" Or maybe just call it the Twinkie Bowl. That may get more interest. Hell, I don't care what they do in the WVU game. They still shouldn't be playing for the NC.

The Buckeyes consistently always have a 1 or 2 loss team every year, so i think if they have the body of work to get there they should be allowed to play.

Someday, the polls will realize that whatever rank they want to give a Big Ten team, add 10, and that is the right number. OSU should be #13 in the country. The Big Ten is consistently shown to be a weaker conference then their rankings show.

My only hope is that the powers that be in college football will foresee the horribly boring catastrophe that an OSU vs WVU National Championship would be.

Great idea, moron! If you KNOW they will lose, you should put money on it!
In fact, maybe we should just ban every team that has ever lost a championship game:
Oklahoma, USC, Nebraska, Miami, Florida State, etc.

I like seeing them get smacked around in the National Championship game and it gives their idiot fans an excuse to burn down Columbus again.

Well if that happens I don't think you could ban OSU from the NC. However, you could give them a trophy that looks like a butt-plug. I think that would be fitting.
