Do you believe that animals have souls?

This is an interesting question to me, because when my son started going to the Christian school, they told him that animals DO NOT have souls. He came home so upset. I DO believe that animals have souls. God created them, just like he created us. They are a living thing, and they are so smart and all of them have their own personality. They would HAVE to have souls.
Plus, after our dog died, I had an experience one morning. I got up to go make the coffee, and while I was standing there, I could hear my dog breathing hard, like he did at the end of his life, and it was coming from the place where the carpet stops, and the tile starts. My dog didnt like the tile, cuz it was slippery. It was weird, but it was him breathing loud, letting me know he was here with us.*

Yes, I believe animals have souls. Do you have pets? I have two cats, Albert and Smitty. They both do my soul good, and I believe I do their souls good. We share a common love with each other, so with that quality in mind, we share a soul together.

Absolutely, i think it is very short sighted to think that only humans do. Animals have distinct personalities don't they? So it makes sense to believe they have a soul as well.

think of the injustice and suffering, you know in china they harvest dolphin souls, they love to eat it with sushi. Thats just horrible dont you think?.
