On any console system, not PC, what game to you believe is the best game ever made?

I would have to say the best game ever is Zelda and the Ocarina of Time for the Nintendo 64. I say this because first of all zelda is an amazing line of games, and second of all you dont get to jsut play as adult link but as child link also. Its the first 3d zelda game to come out. The story itself is amazing also. Having to go through different worlds and collect different spheres. Having the ability to go to any world you want by just playing the song on the Ocarina. I think its the best game ever made.

The Metal Gear Solid series is the best series of games ever made. Metal Gear Solid has been around for 20 years, and it's a legend in the gaming industry. There is just no game that even matches Metal Gear Solid's storyline or gameplay.

I also think that God of War, and Shadow of the Colossus, and some of the Final Fantasy games are some of the best games ever made as well because all of the Final Fantasy games have sold over 170 million units worldwide.

I think the best console game ever made bar none is Resident Evil 4 for the Gamecube. It showed what the game cube was capable of doing power wise and was head and shoulders the best 3rd person shooter of all time. Now, when the game released on the PS2 it had more weapons and extras but the first was the best. For my money Resident Evil 4 is the greatest console game of all time.

My two favourite games are Resident Evil 4 and Metal Gear Solid 3 so it's between those two. I think a good console game should push a console to it's limits and these two games do this.

The only games I remember playing RELIGIOUSLY for months at a time were Tekken2 and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. I actually loved all Tekken games and all GTA except 3 ( I almost chose Vice City but I didn't play that one very long).

id have to say fora game final fantasy X or Kindom hearts 1 n 2 because they both have a really good story line. but i usaly don't judge games by whats best as long as there good ill play them.

Halo 3...

Honestly speaking, it sold like 2 million copies in one day. That is quite impressing enough. It even make Ben Stiller mad because he said that Halo 3 ruined his film 'The Heartbreak Kid'.

Also, Halo 3's icon, the Master Chief is known as the celebrity of games (or Game Celebrity) almost worldwide. The game itself brought gaming to a whole new level, where physics are to be applied accurately in games. Not only that, heavy graphic are added to the game, testing the Xbox360's capability.
