1. jello, apple, candle, wood, iron, diamond

Try doing the rest of the homework yourself - a little effort and research will teach you how to learn, and thats not a bad skill to have.

1 jellos is the least hard
then the candle
then the apples
then iron
and the diamond is the hardest natural substance known to man....it is a 10 on the hardness scale which is the hardest

2 if the density is higher then the object will sink

3 room temperature is anywhere from 68-72 degrees F or 24 degrees C

4 mass is the amount of matter in an object where as weight is the relationship between the object and how much gravity it has

5 both gravity and therefore weight makes it hard to start rolling a large boulder

6 chemical properties deals with the chemical make up of a substance where as a physical property is something physical like the color or shape

1. depends on outside pressure
2. sinks
3. 290k, 17c
4. mass is amount of material, weight is the force of that mass exerted to the center of another mass.
5. The realization that your life has been so lame that you roll large boulders for fun and inertia
6. They are not different, take the wave equations, partial Diff equations that solve for the chem properties of matter, etc

1. jello, apple, candle, wood, iron, diamond

2. it would sink

3. 68oF or 20oC

4. mass is amount of matter, weigt is how much th earth's gravity pulls on it. W=mg

5. inertia, friction

6. physical properties describe what something looks like, such as color, surface texture,
chemical properties describe how something reacts with other materials such as it burns, it corrodes
